Patricia joins our team with a degree in Fine Arts. She attended the Academy of Arts University located in San Francisco CA where she majored in Interior Design. In addition to design, Patricia is also an accredited home staging professional and is member of IAHSP. Prior to launching her career in real estate, she owned and operated a small design firm. Working in the design industry has given Patricia a deep love and appreciation for the architectural contributions as well as the aesthetic appeal homes lend. It has also given her the unique ability to think outside of the box and envision all possibilities. She believes that a home, much like a person develops it own distinctive personality.

A home is a treasured possession, containing all that truly matters to us. Keeping this in mind, Patricia deeply understands the importance of trust and accountability in this industry.  She knows that an exceptional client relationship is paramount.
In Patricia’s spare time she loves spending time with her family and studying Italian. A complete interior renovation of the family home is also something Patricia has recently enjoyed adding to her resume. She and her husband are home owners in Tacoma’s lovely North End community. She is the wife of an Army physician and the mother to 4 beautiful children

Cindy is listing manager and compliance director for the group.

Cindy started C. Morrison Realty in 1971 in Ticonderoga, New York.  She and Michael’s father, Art, worked to be the top brokerage in the historic and scenic town.  The quaint small town had a strong seasonal demographic from such areas as Boston and New York City.  Cindy was a pioneer in the market.  She worked to gain one of the highest market shares for the waterfront properties on Lake George and Lake Champlain.  Both lakes are massive in territories and offered summer and year round residences.

Art passed away in 1996 and Cindy moved to be part of Michael’s team in Washington state.  She continued that same old fashioned theory of hard work, professionalism, constant improvement in our market here.  Cindy is an integral part of Morrison House Sotheby's International Realty.  She brings first hand experience working with an brokerage brand.

Cindy is a valued part of the team, experience is priceless.  Cindy is also active in the Lakewood community, enjoys boating and lives in the  Lake Steilacoom area.

Founder, Broker

Michael Morrison grew up in a real estate family.  Michael’s father Art, and mother Cindy, owned a lumber and coal company in upstate New York; Pond Lumber and Coal.  Michael’s father was originally a green bean farmer who bought the lumber business from a family relative.  Cindy started Morrison Realty in 1971 when the big box lumber stores started to take over the retail side of the industry.  Morrison Realty was born in a small retail space in Fort Ticonderoga, New York.  Michael grew up being surrounded by real estate negotiations, deal making and marketing.  Michael didn't immediately go into real estate.  He went to college for one year in Salem, West Virginia before entering the military.

During his 3 years of military service, Michael continued his college education and earned money towards his college degrees.  He completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and then continued onto to achieve his Master’s degree with a major in Finance.  Upon satisfying his tour in the Army, Michael lived in Seattle, Bellevue and Auburn before settling in the greater Lakewood and University Place, Washington area.

While in Seattle, Michael worked for Bain and Associates Property Management and also HSC Real Estate Services as assistant controller.  Michael left HSC to work for a local dealer of GEAC Computer Systems.  Michael started in telephone support and worked into a sales position with the company that actually supported large multi-family real estate operations and multi-unit developers.  Michael traveled throughout the United States and Canada setting up intricate systems for developers and managers of multi-million dollar projects.  Now married and starting a family, the travel became an issue for Michael and he returned to his roots in residential real estate.

Joining John L Scott Real Estate, Michael defined his niche as unique and upper tier properties.  As a record setting agent, Michael has been recognized both locally and nationally as the agent of choice for the discerning property owner.  His love for real estate stems from his upbringing, and his love for unique properties stems from summering on Lake George and being surrounded by the Adirondack Mountains of New York State.

Michael forged ahead and launched Morrison House Realtors LLC in 2008.  Michael became part of the Sotheby's International Realty® family in July of 2008.  The affiliation brought the unwavering support of a world wide brand and luxury brokerage system to Morrison House.  It also brought a network with the Sotheby’s auction house system which has moved some of the most priced possessions of all times and dates back to 1744.  The brand affiliation is only granted to select companies around the world, another milestone for Michael and his family.

Michael and his wife Tonia, along with their children Taylor and Bryson, reside in the University Place area.  They are also property owners in Lakewood and are active in the area.  Michael and his family are involved with the Lakewood Area Shelter Association to help with reducing homelessness and recurring homelessness along with the associated social issues.
